SOUQ's songket cushions are made from a thick cotton grosgrain rarely found even in Bali. This fabric with the intricate pattern is woven on a backstrap wooden loom and is usually cut into ribbons to use as trim for decadent sarongs or udeng (a man's headband) worn only for special ceremonies.
Our cushions feature this special songket on the front with a pure linen backing.
